Following on from last week we continued with the heathland tidy up on Crabtree Hill. This is not far from Woorgreens Lake where a male and a female Kingfisher had been spotted, alongside Dunnocks and Goldcrests. The progress on Crabtree Hill has been very satisfying as the heather has been cleared of invading gorse and birch and should spread well over the next year.
