The team take a well earned rest to sample the baked potatoes. Baked potatoes done under a real fire have a distinctive taste and are really delicious!
The Forest Rangers took charge of the fire as they were keen to cook some baked potatoes and marshmallows on sticks which was a bit of fun!

The start of the autumn season for the Dean Green Team! We were lucky after the appalling wet weather this summer to have a decent day to work in. The plan for this site is to clear the undergrowth and conifers back from the track in order to make a clear area for the Wood White Butterfly. In fact, there is a long area to continue clearing and we will probably be back at this site.
