The drive through the forest to this site is quite considerable and parking at the side of the track has to be very precise to avoid getting stuck in the mud! The day started in thick fog but as there was no wind it was really quiet in the midst of the forest. Fallow stags were alerted when we arrived and quietly disappeared into the woods. Further brush was cut back to open the area up. At lunchtime we all went to the Rising Sun at Mosely Green for a Christmas get together and an end of the year festive drink - much appreciated by all!
