The large spruces are left in place but had been quite hidden by the underlying brush which has now been cleared.
The brush was cleared back to the line of conifers at the back of the photo.
The Doward

The continuation of work at the Doward on a beautiful day. At first, we burnt the old wood and brush that we had cut down in September and we carried on clearing the small birch so that the area had a an open space for wild flowers and butterflies.
