23 Feb 10	Shakemantle Quarry Meet at the entrance for the geology trail, on the left just over the bridge at Soudley when heading from Ruspidge. There will be a fairly long walk to the work site but it is nice when you get there!!	Coppice birch for butterflies, reptiles and preservation of local geology.	SO652112

Please remember that you must wear steel toe-capped boots and gloves.
Please bring wellington boots if you have them, as many of the sites are rather wet.
Some of the sites are difficult to find and therefore an ordnance survey map will be useful
As a general rule, we will try to do at least some work on wet days so please bring wet weather gear
