3 Jan 12	Sandstone quarries, Old Staple-Edge Wood, Geological site From Coleford to Cindeford take the B4226,just after Dilke Hospital but before the Linear Park car park, turn right into a forest parking area, meet there but if late go through the gate and follow the white arrows ( along way!) to the parking at SO647106. Please remember that you must wear steel toe-capped boots and gloves.
Please bring wellington boots if you have them, as many of the sites are rather wet.
Some of the sites are difficult to find and therefore an ordnance survey map will be useful
As a general rule, we will try to do at least some work on wet days so please bring wet weather gear
